additional controllers for meta quest 3 (Meta Quest 3 Touch Plus)

Good Evening!

I purchased the Meta Quest 3 Touch Plus controllers left and right. I want to add the touch plus controllers for my husband to use, which we share on one headset. I want to keep my original Meta Quest 3 controllers. Is this possible to do? Can I have two sets of controllers for one headset to play multiplayer games?

    It's not possible to have more than one pair of controllers connected to a single headset. I'm intrigued to know how you think having two sets would permit multiplayer on a single headset though.

      MetaQuestSupport.  I appreciate you letting us know what is not currently possible, but you are failing to understand your clients' needs and desires in terms of functionality. 123thedman spells it our for you.  If using a gun stock or golf device or any other type of accessory for the controllers, the controllers need to be removed from said device so they can be use in another faction.  Controllers that have been mated to grips, must now be stripped of the grips and then be inserted and repositioned into a controller accessory.

      Perhaps the original developers didn't realize the full potential of the Meta Quest product but it has evolved as additional VR apps are being added.  I believe that it would be in your vested interested to have a multi-controller arrangement to maximize Meta Quest's full potential.  Not to mention that the CFO of your company would be interested in expanding sales to existing customers.  I believe that Meta is being short sighted and not fully synced in with the needs and wants of its customer based.  It is what separates a customer focused company from impostors! 

      You are better than where the product is currently at.  It's Good but not Great.  With that you, you should recognize that Good is the enemy of Great whether you are designing software, electronics, providing customer service or just selling tomatoes.

        Also, you can add a third 3D Pen controller??? So it sure seems like the capability is already there to add another controller or another set of them.

    Hi, I would love to be able to connect 2 pairs of controllers so I wouldn't have to disconnect my gun and golf attachment ever time I want to play either game Has anything changed  since this questing was asked? I would love to buy some quest pro controllers for my quest 3 but this is a deal breaker for me.

    Yes this is definitely an issue. Meta please consider the extra controllers you could sell. But at $99 a pop well thats half the price of a new 3s. I cannot believe that this hardware is half the cost to you. So that issue would probably have to be addressed if you began allowing multiple controllers.

    SO MUCH THIS!!! Very frustrating having to take things apart every time you switch games. I mean, were asking to BUY MORE CONTROLLERS... We still only want to have ONE PAIR of controllers in use at any one time.

     

    YOU get to SELL MORE CONTROLLERS... That is a WIN for both of us...???
