After changing battery no more respond

My quest 2 left side controller after changing battery becomes a brick, no more light and no respond as all. Is there any way to fix it?

    Maxineeee Just check the battery is in the correct way around.. 😁 I spent 10 minutes once before I realized I'd put it in backwards. Also check another battery to be sure the one you're using isn't dead.
