After last Meta Horizon update my Oculus Rift S is bricked.

After last Meta Horizon update, my headset lost tracking, my left and right joystick left tracking too and also headset is stuck on three dots loading. I spend TWO full F***** days and did literaly everything. Reinstal windows, do everything with USB ports, buy USB hub, instal reinstal repair Horizont link, do power managment in windows for everything... please dont give me another list what to do cuz I REALY DID EVERYTHING !!! Spend two days with GPT that give me nearly everything what to do, I lost my mind cuz what I find is totall discusting. Meta time to time wreck your old VR to push you buy new one ? Nearly all communications on forums from Meta side ending " Looks like your cable is damaged, buy new one or you need buy new headset "  BUT !!! I try Oculus killer and run steam VR , my headset work, and somehow headset tracking too, but my joysticks still not work. So can somebody explain to me, how is possible what Meta doing with Horizon link ? Like week ago, I used Rift S normaly and after two days I saw update in Horizon link, com back and headset stuck on three dots, yes I try unplug and plug USB first etc... like I said, I try everything and just come to this, Meta bricked my headset on purpose ? IDK, but I never gonna buy something from Meta again.

Hey Meta !!! Repair Horizon link for Rift S !!!

Never gonna upgrade with anything from Meta, and still, with Oculus killer, I will rather using headset like this, istead of buy something from them.

You really typed out a whole manifesto about how Meta personally sabotaged your five‑year‑old, discontinued headset… while admitting SteamVR still runs it just fine. That's like complaining your 2009 Honda won't connect to Apple CarPlay and concluding Honda is "bricking it on purpose."

You spent two full days reinstalling Windows, buying USB hubs, rewriting your power management settings, and interrogating GPT like it's the VR police - but somehow never reached the obvious conclusion:

The Rift S is old enough to be in VR hospice care.

And the best part? You say, "Don't give me another list of things to try, I've done EVERYTHING," right before asking strangers to explain what's happening. My friend, if you've truly done everything, the only remaining step is acceptance.

Meanwhile the reply you got was basically:

"Bro… it came out in 2019. Upgrade."

Which is the tech‑forum equivalent of a doctor saying, "Yeah, that leg's gotta come off."

And then you swear off Meta forever - while still using the Rift S through a third‑party hack like someone refusing to leave a toxic relationship but insisting you're "so over it."
