Airlink not working, cannot verify headset on website
My airlink was not working for oculus link nor steamvr. I looked for 4 hours for solutions online. I ended up deleting my entire oculus file on my pc and it didn't work. I went through all of the troubleshooting methods. then I used virtual desktop, but it was too laggy. So i read somewhere that factory resetting my headset could fix it. So since it was my last ditch effort, i decided to. Now all of my games and apps are missing and i only have one account with two emails. all of my apps are missing on the mobile app, the website, and on the headset. I have tried verifying my headset on this account using the serial number on the left side of the headset. It did not recognize my serial number. I have tried using the email that I purchased the headset with. It did not recognize the device. I have tried looking for my receipt. my receipt is gone. I do not know what to do.
Edit: I solved it. it was an issue with one of the names on my internet not being able to airlink. While i still cant airlink on that wifi, i just decided to make a new network with the app on my phone that lets me control the wifi. This solved the problem. This is a very unique issue, and i doubt anyone would find the solution satisfactory. However, if you have multiple modems with a tp link router, you might want to try resetting your wifi, unplugging your ethernet, and making a new wifi connection with the app and connect both your pc and your headset to that connection in order to get airlink to work. This method fixed both steamvr and link.
Fixed it. I just made a new network on my domain.
