    Hey there @ElectricBarracuda6254!

We hear you're having some problems connecting your Meta Quest 2 with your Horizon app, which is of course not ideal when trying to jump back into the Metaverse, we'd love to help you out with that.

Now, since the normal process did not seems to work since the code gave you an error, we'll have to go through a few specific steps to do it more manually, for this process, please follow the below steps carefully:

    1. Open the Meta Horizon mobile app on your phone
    2. Once opened you should be in your account. However if you haven't setup your account yet, then please do so now and make sure that the below things apply:
      • Signed into a Meta account
      • Setting up a VR profile
      • Adjusting preferences and privacy settings
      • Creating a store PIN
      • Adding payment information
    3. If they're all done, then the app should prompt you to select a headset. If not prompted automatically, tap the Headset icon in the upper left of the home screen.
    4. Select the headset or add a new headset
      • If the headset is not listed, make sure that your mobile phone has Bluetooth turned on.
      • Make sure that the headset and mobile phone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
      • If the headset still does not appear, uninstall and then re-install the Meta Horizon mobile app.
    5. After you've selected your headset, it will either pair automatically or ask for the paring code displayed in the headset.
    6. Once your headset is paired, tap Wi-Fi or Controller Issues? and select the that you're experiencing and from there follow the steps displayed on your phone in the Horizon app.

This should get your Quest 2 paired with no more problem, but if you're still having some issues, then please let us know and we'll take a closer look into it for you.

You also mentioned that you're unable to contact our wonderful support team via our website due to your headset not being connected to your account, since you headset is not currently connected to your account, you can reach out to us here in our community privately via this link here, or by simply clicking on our name and then on "Send a Message", where we can take a look at any problem that you might be facing at the moment.

We hope this helps and look forward to seeing you back in the Metaverse soon!
