Hello Davidnadrianne!
We saw your post about the trouble you're having casting from your headset to your LG Chromecast TV, and we totally understand how frustrating that can be, especially when you're just trying to enjoy your content without any problems.
Here are a few steps you can try to narrow down where the issue might be, whether it's the headset, your phone, or the Chromecast itself:
- Try casting from a different phone to see if the issue persists.
- Use a different app like Netflix, Spotify, or YouTube to test casting functionality.
- Double-check your network setup—make sure all three devices (headset, phone, and Chromecast) are connected to the exact same Wi-Fi network. If your router has both 2.4GHz and 5GHz channels, all devices need to be on the same one.
- Try casting to a computer or another phone to see if that works better.
For more detailed guidance, you can also have a look at the following link, which provides more information on casting and troubleshooting.
Just a quick heads-up: casting directly to a Chromecast device or TV isn’t officially supported by Meta at this time. That means it may not work consistently across all Chromecast models or TVs. Unfortunately, we do not maintain a list of compatible devices, so if casting works to a computer or phone but not to your TV, it’s likely a compatibility issue.
If you'd like to dig deeper into this, the Chromecast Help Center is a great place to start.
We hope this helps!
