Hi there project.sycho, thank you for your post.

Just to double check, is your headset and app connected to the same band of the same router?

We look forward to hearing back from you!

  • Can I have help with this too? I have the ideal DNS server. Other devices sem to work just fine with the same settings but my Meta Quest 2 says "connected but can't provide internet.

      Hi Ultramagnus09!

We would love to help you resolve this issue! We understand that this connection error can be confusing, and we know how inconvenient it is, especially when you're excited to return to your favorite games. Don't worry! We're here to provide all the help and assistance you need.

If your Oculus Quest 2 is connected to Wi-Fi but shows no internet access, you can try troubleshooting steps like restarting the headset and router, forgetting and reconnecting to the Wi-Fi network, or checking for interference. If the issue persists, it might be helpful to try a different network.

Here's a more detailed breakdown of potential solutions:

      1. Restart your devices:

      • Oculus Quest 2: Hold the power button until the shutdown screen appears and select "Reboot". (Restart your Meta Quest headset)
      • Router/Modem: Unplug the power cord for 30 seconds, then plug it back in.

      2. Forget and Reconnect to Wi-Fi:

      • In the Quest 2's Quick Settings, select the Wi-Fi network, choose "Forget this network," and then reconnect, entering the password again.

      3. Check for Interference:

      • Ensure there are no physical obstructions between the headset and the router.
      • Verify that the Wi-Fi signal strength is strong.

If you still can't connect your Meta Quest to Wi-Fi, try connecting to a different Wi-Fi network if one is available. If the headset connects to a different network, the issue may be with your Wi-Fi configuration.

We would recommend checking our public article about how to Troubleshoot joining a Wi-Fi network on Meta Quest, It could be helpful if you run into more issues in the future.
