Connection Issue

Ive checked my wifi router and it’s working fine, but any online games on meta won’t work even though my headset has a good internet connection, the problem started happening a month before but was gone and was only spearing every week, but know it’s really bad and doesn’t work at all since April 29th at around 7pm, I don’t know if something happened then and it hasn’t been resolved but the problem is not on my end, anyone know what’s going on?

Could there also be a software update I need that I didn’t get yet? I’m on version 2.3 and it says I’m up to date.

Reboot your router and fully power off and on your headset and see if that fixes it.

If not, it's probably your account. Try making a new one with a different email address and see if multiplayer works with it.

If that doesn't solve it, then it's probably your ISP.

I played online (beat saber) every day. So it's also not on Metas end.😉

So, it's maybe an issue with the game you try to play?

It isn’t the game I try to play because no online games work, any game thats offline will work but any multiplayer games dont. Maybe something in my city got knocked down or there was an outage. I don’t know, maybe I’ll wait and see if it fixes itself.

In all honesty it does look it's a problem at either your end or your internet provider's end. There is no issue with online Meta games. If your wifi is OK and you have good internet connection it should be OK...if also your wifi speed and bandwidth are OK. Sometimes providers can throttle the speed for some unknown reason so look into that possibility. It happened to me about 6 months ago, found extremely slow speeds for online games and I've a 1gb high speed fiber optic connection. When I changed the provider the problem disappeared. Good luck and hope you get it fixed.
