Connection to app issues

This might be lengthy... so buckle up.

So I was playing beat saber and wanted to stream it to the app so my family could see what I was seeing. (I have recently got a new phone). I tried to connect to the headset from the app, but I kept getting the try again later.

So I did what I normally do, search the internet for a solution. I came across the FAQ here on meta. They suggested to turn the headset off then back on, as well as the phone. So I did that.

No solution or fix, next step? delete the app. and reinstall

NO FIX.

Tried to pair approximately 16 more times.

NO F I X!

Last suggestion BY META?!? Factory reset.

NO FIX, but now I am stuck in set up mode on my headset and cannot get past the pairing on there.

NEXT STEP?!? Reach out to meta chat (LOL).. The Lady was super friendly, which is new for me with the meta experience.

She tried to get me to go through the steps again... guess what? NO FIX..

SO ultimately what is META's solution? Buy a new headset or phone and try again.

This is where the rant begins.. I have had multiple  Headsets, some with OG Oculus, and some with meta. I can say I miss Oculus with their support. Meta? LOL.

So about two hours ago I was playing games, and after doing what they told me to do through official channels I now essentially have a paper weight. Needing to fork out $300+ to play again. They are trying to say since I'm out of warranty its on me.. And I would totally agree, IF I WASN'T DOING WHAT THEY SAID TO DO. Had I known I wouldn't be able to play anymore I wouldn't have messed with factory resetting the device.

Basically this left a sour taste in my mouth with this company. And like most things, when a big company buys the small one things go down hill. Hopefully the Steam Frame releases on time because I think I'm jumping ship..
