Connection to STEAM

I am really sorry if I have missed a previous post explaining what I am obviously missing but I think I have read a lot of articles now pretty much all suggesting the same things which I think I have done already.

I bought the quest 3 a couple of months ago and had no issues with playing games both stand alone on the headset or via steam using SteamVR mainly as the airlink option seemed unnecessary.

I have worked away from home quite a lot over the last month so not had the time to get back in to anything on VR but I have since tried and cannot connect anymore to SteamVR with the error codes 450 and 451 coming up ("host not responding" or "headset connect to host PC but not streaming video". I have ensure everything is updated and even uninstalled both the meta App and STeam VR plus restoring the headset to factory settings (including wiping all META and Occulus folders from C Drive).

I have restarted the router but this is still on whatever settings I had previously when it worked fine.

PC is connected to router by an ethernet cable with headset looking to connect by Wifi which again, used to work fine in the same place in the house. When I checked settings I meet all requirements so not sure what could have changed.

I am at a complete loss and would appreciate any help given as a grown man crying is not a pretty sight.

Disable "Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling" in your Windows graphics Advanced settings, it can cause streaming to fail, especially when using SteamVR.

Also make sure your headset is connecting to the 5GHz wifi not 2.4GHz.

Error codes 450 and 451 appear to be temporary service disruptions, but make sure you are running both Steam and SteamVR on your PC before trying to run SteamLink on your headset.

Quest Link or AirLink often give better game performance than using SteamLink, btw.
