'Couldn't Pair with your headset'

HELP!

We have purchased second hand a Quest 2 headset for our Daughter for Xmas - They and we have done a full factory re-set, we have full Wi-Fi and Bluetooth is on but we keep getting and error message to say it couldn't pair with headset...It also keeps asking us to pull things out from the bottom of the handsets which aren't there :/

Any help greatly appreciated :)

    OK, I have seen people talking about this. When you get it new it asks yo you to pull the tabs from the battery hatches on the controllers to continue. But obviously there are none as it's not new. I have heard that if you wait about 5 or 10 minutes, it will automatically skip past this requirement and you can continue with the set up. Try it, I think it might work and let's know how you get on! Good luck! 🤞🤞🍀🍀🍀

      Thank you…Turns out that after a week of trying everything it just needed two new batteries in the handsets! All sorted and ready for Christmas Day! Thank you for your help :)

        That's great news! Glad you got it fixed before the holidays! A tip. Get a set of rechargeable batteries as you'll have to swap them out every couple of weeks. I was spending a fortune on batteries so rechargeable is the way to go! Have a very Happy Christmas with your daughter and your family!
