DisplayPort not connecting on Oculus Rift S

Hello Everyone! Looking for some assistance to get my Oculus Rift S working or atleast to diagnose what is going on. 

USB is connecting, DisplayPort is not. App says a Firmware update is required, but it fails instantly. Have plugged and replugged the cable at the headset, connected USB waited 10 seconds and connected the DP. Reinstalled App and drivers, ran things as admin. Is there any way to better troubleshoot? or can the firmware be performed via cmd? or with another util? any assistance appreciated. I have been unable to raise a Meta support case as my account has not yet connected with this device.

    When this happened to my first Rift S, it was RMA'd for replacement under warranty. My guess is a component required for the display to work has gone "pop", like mine did.
