help with set up needed

Hi, I’m stuck during the Meta Quest setup and cannot proceed.

My headset is paired successfully with the Meta Quest app, but the app is stuck on a looping “safety video” screen and does not show any “Continue” or “Finish setup” button. Because of this, my headset keeps displaying “Continue setup in the app” and I’m completely blocked.

I have already tried:

  • factory reset of the headset
  • reinstalling the Meta Quest app
  • clearing app data and cache
  • using a different phone
  • re-pairing the device

Nothing worked.

It looks like my account or device setup is stuck on your side and cannot complete the safety step.

Please help me complete or reset the setup on your end so I can use my headset.

    Are you talking about a Quest 1 or Go?

    When you use an Android phone, you'll need an older version of the Horizon app  to pass the safety video.... 

    The easiest way is to use an iphone - maybe borrow one for a few minutes - with it the setup works without issues.
