What AMD graphics card would you recommend I get for this to work well? I have a tower and I believe I do have a card though I haven't really looked inside yet. From the back my monitors look to be plugged into a card in a PCI slot. My box doesn't look from there to have any AGP slots. Is that a limiting factor?
My terminology may be old and wrong. Maybe modern PCI slots are fast enough or have a wide enough bus that we don't need AGP slots any more. The PC before this one was from 8 years ago. I was going to upgrade the GPU in it, but they put some sort of fan slot in the case and the card I wanted didn't physically fit in the box. ::sigh::
This box doesn't have any of that foolishness though it is a bit small.
jsmunroe first of all I'd try the fix in the link mentioned in my previous post.
It really depends on your budget and what you want to do in VR. MSFS2024 is very GPU hungry.
There are other alternatives to the link software such as Virtual Desktop, SteamLink which stream VR from the PC to the headset wirelessly as long as you're relatively close to your router. Virtual Desktop can also be made to function with a link cable or ethernet cable if you want to go down that route.

jsmunroe as you're not doing anything too demanding, the information in my previous post should get you past the unsupported messages. You could always record content directly on the headset and transfer the video files to the PC.
