keep spinning in steam vr with wired connection meta quest 2
Just want to start off by saying as someone who used to watch all the virtual reality adverts for the quests when I was younger, I was excited to buy one and even more so to play one in future to play games on a gaming pc. Fast forward now I'm 20, finally got both, and to my utter disappointment my dreams were shattered right infront of me as I opened the game I'd waited years to play, PC CONNECTED TO A WIFI EXTENDER VIA ETHERNET BY THE WAY; to be greeted by constant spinning. I don't have drift, but everytime I point my controllers at the desktop it keeps spinning around and bugging out, only when I do something that takes the pointers off the screen is when it stops.
I'm just curious is this just poor people repellent, is the quest 2 now just being turned into junk while quest 3 is out to force people to buy it? Because if so, I'm extremely and utterly disappointed with the company and it's practices. I looked for a solution and I cannot find any besides people talking about ethernet and wifi, but that can't be the problem considering the fact I gotta lot of data in my wifi and I'm connected to it via ethernet.
So please not to be rude to anyone, or be undignified, tell me why on earth after waiting how many years, I'm experiencing this problem?
Am I unlucky? Do I have a big flag on my account saying "oh don't let him enjoy the game and the vr headset". Honestly, I would love just absolutely LOVE, to know why I'm experiencing this problem. Thank you.
Hi just wanted to say, I'm not going to use the quest 2 ever again this was the worst experience I've ever had.
So since I'm going, lemme tell you my life goal now. I have a very peculiar talent for something, that can earn me millions, billions even if I'm business smart. So what I'm going to do with that money is pour a majority of it all into investing in Valve vr, and I vow here and now to destroy the VR empire that Meta has created.
