Keyboard Occlusion Hand Tracking

Am I missing something? When I pass my hand over my physical keyboard, especially the center of it, the white outline and dark shadow version of my hand appears which obfuscates the keys I am trying to type turning what is supposed to be a helpful feature, keyboard passthrough, into the opposite.
