Latest Q3 headset software bricked my controllers...

Anyone else experience this? Factory reset doesn't fix, controller re-pair doesn't fix, holy water sprinkle...nada.

Sounds like support has at least heard of it before, as they tell me a  software fix is just a couple days away. Of course, that was after they tried to sell me on their out of warranty program.

Sorry Meta...you break, you buy.

    Still jumping through their hoops...

    They still mention this every time. No, I AM NOT PAYING FOR OoW program.

    Now asking me to ADB side-load something. Seriously? I've done a bit of this with phones and can probably manage, but what if I was a non-techie everyday user?

    Side-load did not fix and they are still refusing to correct the issue that their software update caused. Looking like time to file a BBB complaint...

     

  • I have the same controller pairing issue on my Q3 that I bought from the OOW program. They have sent me 3 headsets and 1 set of new controllers all to no avail. I simply asked for a refund after this and they refuse. Is there a phone number or in-person location to get acutal help?

    Not 24hrs after filing BBB complaint, I have an RMA for replacement. After like ten suggestions I send them money.
