Left Controller Non-Responsive

So I own a Meta Quest 2 and my younger brother owns a Meta Quest 3 and within the same week we noticed both left hand controllers have mysterious decided to stop responding. By stop responding I mean the controllers won't respond in any manner and will not even turn on after batteries being swapped for brand-new ones, resetting connected controllers and pretty much every possible step recommended that I've seen online. Does anyone have any magical fixes for unresponsive controllers or have we wasted over $1000 CAD on these right-handed head bricks?
