left controller tracking issues

so a few days ago, I noticed that my left controller isn't pairing and I thought I might of just unpaired it then I tried to pair it again, but it was saying it was already paired but it just was not working or showing in games except for when I tested the controller dead zone and it does still move so it does work but I have no idea how to resolve this issue. I've switched batteries. I've tried to pair and unpair on both the quest and on the meta quest app and nothing has resolved the issue so far I haven't had this controller for too long. It's in perfect  condition just a few scuff marks but it just randomly stopped tracking and doesn't show in games or in the home screen. Please can anyone help me? I don't want to factor reset because I did that with an old controller to try resolve the same issue and I couldn't use my vr  for another four months pleas can anyone one help me? if you had the same issue and managed to fix it pleas let me know
