We noticed your post and we would love to lend a hand to get your controller back up and running, so you can rejoin us in the Metaverse.
Here are a couple of troubleshooting steps to try out:
- Remove unsupported third-party accessories that may affect power, battery fit, or controller detection. For example, rechargeable grips, controller covers, etc.
- Replace the controller battery with a fresh one.
- Remove the battery for at least 30 seconds and replace them again.
You mention the LEDs light up, could you let us know if you see a blinking or solid light.

I am having the same problem, I have tried all available fixes right down to unpairing/repairing, factory reset, reinstalling the app...still blinking white light of death

Hi there Ccarpenter77,
We see you are also having issues with your controllers.
If your Touch controller status display light (LED) is repeatedly flashing three fast blinks, three slow blinks, then three fast blinks (SOS in morse code), this is an error signal.
To troubleshoot, please try the following, moving on to the next step if the previous step was unsuccessful at resolving the issue:
- While the SOS is flashing, remove and reinsert the battery.
- Restart your headset.
- Unpair and re-pair your controllers to your headset using the Meta Horizon mobile app. Ensure that your headset is awake and nearby.
- Use the software update tool to check for and install any available updates.
- Perform a hard reboot. Hold down the power button for 30 seconds or until you hear the device reboot again.
