    Hello kreekel1,

We came across your post and wanted to see if we could help to get you reconnected via the Meta Quest Link app, so you can get back to racing in no time.

Here are steps to troubleshoot and fix the Link cable connection:

    • Ensure your PC's graphics drivers, the Meta Horizon Link app, and your headset's software are all fully updated. Outdated drivers are a common cause of disconnects.
    • Disable the Public Test Channel (PTC). Being in the PTC may cause compatibility issues.
If you are using Oculus Tray Tool or other third party software that can make modifications to graphics or settings, please uninstall for troubleshooting purposes as these programs can cause conflicts that effects performance and display.
    • Repair the Meta Quest Link app.
      • Go to https://www.meta.com/quest/setup and click Download software.
      • Select Repair.
      • If Windows asks you if you are sure you want to open this file, click Yes.
      • If Windows Defender prompts Windows protected your PC, click More info, and then click Run anyway.
      • If your antivirus software restricts the file from opening, temporarily disable your AV and continue.
      • Please remember to re-enable your antivirus software once you have completed the repair.
      • Allow the repair process to run, download and install.
      • Launch the Meta Quest Link app.

  • I found that after the last Link update, some of the internal Link settings have been changed. Have you tried using the OculusDebugTool to check your Link settings? I had disabled Asynchronous Spacewarp and Sliced Encoding, but the update re-enabled or changed these settings and caused severe problems for some of my PCVR games until I set the settings back to what I had previously.
