Since update V81 my link cable has stopped working, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, run all updates since last week, updated drivers, enabled access to the BETA, gone to device manager and disabled power saving on the ports. again uninstalled and reinstalled the app. i am still unable to run link with my PC

You should have started by searching the forum about that issue 😉.
For what reason? To learn that this crap just randomly stops working all the time or what? It's good people are pushing such topics, maybe one day meta will do something about it. Although considering their "achievments" in VR, AI and other branches aside of Facebook I don't think they will.
I think i am having the same issue? Windows can see it connect to my system but Link cant. Spent two days troubleshooting, and no avail. Even went as far as replacing my headset and that didnt work either. Tried 3 different cables, different ports. Nothing worked,. So is it a Software issue?
