Meta.com does not recognise my oculus quest meta horizon account

I haven't used my oculus quest for a while... at lease a year or two.

I bought it in 2020. I switched it on and reactivated the meta horizon app. Thankfully everything seems good and any apps/games purchased are still there.

Problem is when I log into meta.com it the device doesn't appear.

Both logins are same email but it feels like they are 2 different accounts.

I know my login PW for the meta horizon app but I'm unable to find my PW for meta.com as it just takes me straight to the 2 factor authentication process... sending codes to mobile etc.

Would greatly appreciate any ideas/advice as I fear it may cause problems if I buy a more up to date device. Be good to get meta.com to recognise my meta horizon account.

    Hi

    Thanks for the suggestion

Just tried it. The device gave me an 8 digit letter/number code to enter into meta.com when requested. I did that. I also signed in on FB as I was prompted to do in settings on my VR headset. I logged out and back into Meta.com and still saying no devices recognised.

Hm, maybe just factory reset the Quest and pair it to your Horizon account again?

I have two Rift S devices showing on my Meta Horizon phone app, but not on auth.meta.com and neither on www.meta.com.  If I click on either device on the phone app and select Library, or Profiles, I get a "GraphQLError".

HOWEVER, I no longer own those devices and there's no way to delete them from the phone app.

Maybe Meta has deleted the OPs device from their system due to it being unused for too long. I remember Maccyb123 saying something about the Meta Terms and Conditions saying they can delete devices or accounts if you don't use them often enough. It could also be the case that the device is well out of warranty and no longer officially supported (like the Rift S).
