The Horizon app works without issues for me.
Uninstall/reinstall the phone app and see if it works then.
If you still only get a black screen on your phone, maybe use another phone or a tablet to pair the Quest.
I noticed last night I was getting a black screen when opening the Meta Horizon app on my iPhone. I closed and re-opened the app and then had to wait about 1 minute, then everything suddenly loaded.
PS. I still get that random "device locked" pop-up 🙃.
I had some loading issues a few hours after I posted it worked without probs😂 not complete black though.

I still have to tell the app that I DON'T want to pair a Quest 2 now.😂
It's very buggy on my Android phone too. Stutters a lot and sometimes freezes.
