Meta Link won't install

I've been trying since I acquired my 3s in February to install the Link app so I can use the headset wired to my pc rather than over wifi, which is extremely unreliable and laggy. So far, I've tried disabling all of my antivirus and firewall through Windows Defender, installing with and without the headset plugged in with various compatible cables, creating a new partition (at the advice of support?) to install it on, and others I'm sure I've forgotten since this is such a long ongoing issue. I have a Lenovo laptop with a Ryzen 7435, a GTX 4060, and 16gb of ram, with around 100gb of free space. I'm not really sure what else I can do to get it installed at this point but was wondering if anyone knew any other way.
