Meta Quest 3 not air linking / pairing to Laptop

I bought the Quest 3 to play Skyrim VR - meaning I need to use the Meta Quest Link to connect my headset to my laptop.

My Laptop is a gaming Laptop and meets all the requirements. I am admittedly very inept with computers as I am a console gamer.

The Problem: I cannot airlink my laptop and headset together. It finds the laptop and its name, then when I click pair no code comes up and it says to restart both.

I feel like I've done everything I can find and am getting really frustrated. I have:

- uninstalled and reinstalled the app on the PC.

- Updated both headset and laptop to the latest software.

- Updated my Graphic Driver (NVIDIA)

- Disconnected and reconnected both from the wifi and bluetooth

- Used the USB-C which came with the Quest to try cable link. It finds it, then says its not a good connection.

- Renamed the laptop.

Nothing has worked

I am at a total loss, please someone help! I don't want to pay another £90 for the link cable, especially when I wanted to play SKyrim without cables.
