Question, are you on Windows 10 or Windows 11?
I'm on windows 11, I don't actually think I've tried the app after upgrading from windows 10, so maybe that has something to do with it?

Trust me when I tell you, Meta Quest Link will not work with Windows 11. No matter what you do or how hard you try, despite whatever Meta says, the app will absolutely never complete installation on a machine running Windows 11, it will always fail. There are goofy workarounds to try, but I was never able to execute any of them successfully to where the app both installed and retained functionality.

I got Windows 11 and meta link works perfectly fine on my pc. You're just not trying hard enough or not knowledgable enough to make it work for you. So don't just assume it's a windows 11 issue because you can't get it to work.

Oh did you? Perhaps, if you would be so kind, could you explain how you managed to accomplish this, as under normal circumstances this is simply not possible, and as far as “trying hard enough” is concerned, I’m not sure exactly what you mean by that, and I would like to hear what somebody such as yourself considers to be the appropriate amount of effort, and to contrast that, what you consider to be the amount of effort that some lazy, know-nothing, low-effort, trash-work-ethic scrub would put in before washing their hands with the task. Also, I’d like to invite you to guess what I personally did(methodologies, research, what have you) and how much time I spent trying to solve this problem, and furthermore invite you to speculate what my level of aptitude is as it pertains to possessing and employing the required skills to solve such a problem, and furthermore, kindly explain exactly what level of skill and knowledge a user ought to possess in order to get meta quest link to function with windows 11.
