Yeah I’ve been having the same issue since purchasing my quest 3 two months ago. If the link app decides it’s going to open upon startup, the whole thing won’t work (even when letting the app sit 1-2 minutes until it loads). The only way I’ve found to make it work is to restart the entire system (headset and pc). Have searched and searched for any setting to NOT have the app try to initialize upon startup, but it hasn’t been located in either the app or in the startup apps menu on win 11. Have uninstalled/reinstalled the app over half a dozen times now and it continues to plague me.
One would think that for how much these things cost, the software wouldn’t be so buggy. Between that and constantly having to open the Oculus debug tool to turn off adaptive gpu scale (why there isn’t a save/load profile feature on that is beyond my pay grade) I’ve been left with a bad impression by the software, even if the hardware itself is rather good for “entry level” consumer vr
