Meta quest link not working?

I tried to play some pc vr for the first time in a while eailer as a few months ago there was a bug or somthing that made it completely unplayable with infinate loading of the app etc. When i tried to play today it loaded but kept closing pc vr and went back to the meta menu every few minutes forcing me to unplug/plug in the link cable a few times as the first time id plug it back in the game was at really low frames before going back to normal then happening again, still making it basically unplayable. Is it like this for everyone who uses a link cable right now? Or is there a fix or an update i missed or somthing?

    Hey, l1iliin!

We know how frustrating it can be when you're unable to stay in your virtual worlds, so we'd love to help you get to the bottom of this ASAP!

Please try the following steps to manually uninstall the Meta Quest Link desktop app, then reinstall it:

    • Disconnect your Rift/Link cable, if you're using one.
    • Disconnect your computer from the internet.
    • Backup any necessary content.
    • Uninstall the Meta Quest Link app from the 'Installed apps' menu.
    • Remove any Oculus folders from the following locations:

    C:\Program Files

    C:\OculusSetup-DownloadCache

    C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData

    C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\Local

    C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\LocalLow

    C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\Roaming

    • Note: The AppData folder is usually hidden. Use these steps to access AppData.

Press Windows key + R to launch the Run dialog window.

Type %AppData% in the Run box and click OK or press Enter.

File Explorer will launch to the AppData\Roaming subfolder.

Click AppData in the File Explorer address bar to show all three subfolders in the AppData location.

    • Restart your computer.
    • Reconnect your computer to the internet.
    • Download the Meta Quest Link app setup tool from our website and run it.
    • Reconnect the Rift/Link cable and re-test the headset
