New Quest 3 freezing on pairing screen wont accept account??

Trying to set up new Quest 3 514GB with iphone 14. I had to enter wifi info 4 times to connect? (Now it says connect??) then I got to set up screen where it shows pairing and "may have to enter code" shows a code but no where to put it. it keeps saying "confirm my account" which I enter name and email and everything stops. Every time I am asked for this info nothing happens. Its packed up and ready to go back to seller, I am brand new to this technology and primarily bought to watch 3D videos and shows not much of a gamer. This morning I decided to try to do factory reset to start again, but charge light did not come on nor did it turn on!!! Kinda at the end of the rope here, think its going back was a repaired model from Amazon
