New Quest 3s won’t connect to WiFi

I’ve just bought a Quest 3s and am trying to set it up with no luck at all. When I try to connect to my WiFi it tells me password is incorrect even though I am 100% certain it’s right.

I’ve tried factory resetting the headset, restarting router, connecting to my iPhone mobile hotspot (that won’t connect either) but nothing seems to help.

I’ve tried to pair the headset with the Horizon app and it asks me to enter a code displayed in the headset but nothing is showing.

Incredibly frustrating, can anyone provide any assistance?

Many thanks in advance,

Geoff

When you did that, have you turned off wifi on your phone?

Doing that worked for some users and they were able to connect the headset.

But... if you turn off wifi on the phone, how will the headset connect to the hotspot...? I'm pretty sure Quest headsets don't support Bluetooth tethering. Or does enabling the hotspot still use wifi just for the hotspot, while disabling "wifi" forces the phone to use cellular data? 🤔

I'm not sure, Steve. I thought, I've read that somewhere......but maybe I recall that wrong🤪 and it was turn wifi off and on again? Or turn wlan off?

Make sure you have both Bluetooth and Location Services enabled in the phone and also for the Meta Horizon mobile app.

Also, try using a different phone or tablet.
