We hear that you're wondering how to do a factory reset of your Meta Quest, for that we have our handy Help Center article on all the ways to factory reset your device, which we will link here for you.
We do want to mention a few things that can happen during a factory reset. If you proceed with a factory reset, all account information, downloaded game as well as content like recordings or pictures from your Meta Quest will be deleted with no way to get them back. If you have some precious memories that your would like to avoid losing or progress in a game, then we would recommend turning on your cloud backup. While cloud backup can save some of your data, game date/progress is up to the developer to decide if it is activated on their specific game/app, so some might still be lost during the process.
Additionally, have your headset charged to at least 50%, to ensure that it doesn't run out of charge while the factory reset is happeneing. Once it is at least at 50%, you can follow the steps in the link above to proceed with the factory reset.
