Hello Squintybeatle,
Thank you for sharing your Air Link experience, we appreciate how important good audio is when casting!
Please follow the steps below to regain your audio:
Reboot your headset & relaunch Air Link.- Hold down the power button and volume down button for 30 seconds until you hear the boot-up sound.
If the boot-up sound is not heard:
- Hold the power and volume (-) button down simultaneously until the boot screen loads on your headset.
- Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight "Boot Device" and press the power button.
- Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Yes and press the power button.
To check the audio input and output for your Meta Quest:
- Open Meta Quest Link on your computer.
- Click Devices in the left-hand side menu and then select your device.
- Toggle on Hear computer audio in VR.
- Toggle on Hear audio from computer.
To check the audio input and output for your PC:
- Click the Speaker icon in the task bar in the bottom-right part of your screen.
- Click the ^ arrow to open a list of audio devices connected to your computer.
- Check that your audio and mic are both set to Oculus Virtual Audio Device.
Additionally, if you are using any third-party VR software on your PC, make sure that Oculus Virtual Audio Device is set as your audio input and output source there as well.
