Oculus Go stuck at “Continue in the app” screen despite reset

My Oculus Go is no longer working properly. Let me explain:

Everything seems to be functioning fine, the battery, charging, remote, and screen all work as expected.

When I perform a reset, the Wi-Fi connection shows as excellent. The Oculus Go displays “Connected to Wi-Fi – Continue in the Oculus App.” However, when reaching the next step, the “Continue” button is greyed out, and the loading video spins endlessly, as shown in the photo below. I have no idea how to fix this.

A factory reset has already been done.

I’ve also tried exiting and rebooting the device, but the result is the same: the video won’t load, and the “Continue” button remains unavailable.

Thank you for your help!

The Oculus Go was an important stepping stone in the lifecycle of not only Oculus but VR as a whole. It brought to life a new world for millions of people, and introduced them to what VR was, and could be.

We would like to thank you for being an early adopter of this new reality, and for taking this journey with us for so long. Unfortunately, all things must come to an end, and our focus has since shifted to ensure that we can keep focusing on pushing what is possible in VR.

While support for the Oculus Go has ended, we hope you can still find plenty of experiences, wonder and fun with the apps that continue to thrive on the Oculus Go, and hope to continue to see you in the Metaverse
