I'm having the same issue. I got a refurb controller after my old one was struck with stick drift. When I unpacked the controller my headset would not pair to my phone to set up the new controller. Now I'm out 75$ for the controller and I can't figure out how to fix it. Meta told me to buy a new refurb headset when I asked for help.
