Pairing with app/phone

Hi, 

I bought a quest 3s for my son for xmas. 

I have followed all the extremely painstaking steps to try and set it up for xmas day, ive got to the pairing page on the app, and im hitting the blue continue button and nothing. Its not doing anything. 

Ive restarted both phone and quest. Reinstalled the horizon app. Nothing. Completely non responsive. 

The quest was on 100% and in 30 mins of trying to sort this out its down to 45% really!? 

Starting to regret this purchase. 

Any help greatly appreciated

    Try if the set up works with another phone or with a tablet.

    It doesn't have to be your phone/tablet. You can uninstall the app from the borrowed  phone/tablet after setting up the Quest, so no account info is left.

    Choleni has good advice there. You should also contact support. The other option is to return it and buy him a bicycle instead. A far healthier option than sitting at home with a VR headset strapped to his head. 😜 Just kidding......or am I? I kept my brood as far away and as long as possible away from the sitting down type of activity. Sporting activities can provide a far more stimulating and personal growth experience. Why play football on a screen when you can play it for real? I went on a total tangent there 😂😂 Once you get this set up correctly, and I'm sure you will, keep the play time to a minimum. Just advice from a fella with four sons and two daughters!

      I know what  you mean Maccyb123​ and I'm more than happy that my sons and doughter already adult and I don't have to fight with child accounts and hold kids back from doing what her mother loves

        😂😂Mine are mostly grown too with my youngest daughter in university! As a process design engineer, there was already computers in the house since they were young, but we always kept exposure to a minimum. I think it resulted in none of them becoming engineers, LOL, but a variety of occupations from lawyer to pharmacologist! The youngest is studying medicine and doing a thesis on use of artificial intelligence in diagnosis. A interesting time to be younger!

    Just get a refund while you can meta quest and there horse**bleep** software is terrible. The issues will not stop.
