Please help

I ordered my Oculus 3 from the Meta store, along with Supernatural Fitness and Beat Saber. I ordered this when I visited my son in Maryland because he has the Oculus 2 and I enjoyed playing it. Yesterday, the Oculus 3 shows up at my house in VA, and I begin setting it up. To my surprise, when I got it set up, I saw all my son's information and that I was logged into his account, somehow, someway. I did a hard reset after some research and did it again, this time I had "created a new account" with my email and password that I used when I bought the Oculus 3. It had me create a username, which I did. Then, when I get everything set up, I go to the library inside the Oculus itself and I do not see them but I do see where they can be purchased for the amounts that I paid, along with other games in the library, HOWEVER, when I log into Meta using Safari, I can see my name, my purchases, and it shows up no problem, BUT when I go to the app itself (Meta Horizon) I go to library and purchase history and it says I have not made any purchases. Now, before I received the Oculus 3, I had received 3 separate emails, one for the Oculus purchase confirmation, one for the Beat Saber, showing delivered, and one for the Supernatural, showing delivered. Somehow, I managed to stumble into a live chat with Meta and after about 30 minutes of explaining all this, they said, "you will receive an email from support." (ugh). Anyways, I am looking for some guidance. I am 48, certainly tech savvy and a large quantity of commonsense but for the life of me, I cannot find these games. I have a sneaky suspicion it lies within the username, but that is a guess. My email through the app, the browser, and the Oculus itself are correct but there is no purchase history through the Oculus library, nor the app itself and there is nothing that says "not installed yet" or similar that ChatGPT was telling me about. Please help, I am absolutely stumped. Thank you very much.

    Uhh, what a mess🤪

    I'm not sure what happened. You said you created a new account  - using the email and password which you used before.

    Actually, it shouldn't be possible to create a new account with an email that is already used.

    So, maybe this is the problem.

    However, with account issues only Meta support can help, so you have to wait for the mail.

    You can send a PM MetaStoreHelp​ here in the forum....maybe they can push things a little.

    Click on their name, then click the "message" button.

    Hey! It sounds like your purchases are tied to a different Meta account — maybe the one you first logged into. Try signing out of the headset and app, then log back in with the same account you used to buy the games. If they still don’t show, contact Meta Support with your receipts — they can fix it fast.
