PROBLEM CONNECTING OCULUS TO NETWORK

I am using a QUEST 2 OCULUS headset that is running an anatomy application BODYMAP.

Both my windows research CPU and my windows laptop successfully connect to our network using wi-fi.

However, BODYMAP shows up in my googles library, and when executing it, it first asks to indicate a wi-fi connection.  I select the same network that is running successfully on the CPU and laptop, but it fails every time.

Has anyone experienced this problem?

It sounds like you may have downloaded the wrong version (Android) instead of the Windows version. There's also a native version that can be installed directly in the headset.

Are you using a college/university network?
Can you start the Bodymap app on your Quest if you use your phone as hotspot instead of the network?
Maybe there are some more steps to do other than just select the network?

They say the app is in their "googles library", which suggests they are using the Android version, unless they meant "goggle's library", which would imply the native Quest version (which seems unlikely because they mentioned a PC and laptop). It's odd that they would be trying to run the Android version on a laptop, as it would require an Android emulator, but why do that when a Windows version of the app is available? Also odd is they didn't mention using PCVR/Link at all. So maybe they are using the native Quest version after all. But why then, would any native Quest app ask the user to select a wifi network if the headset is already connected to a network, that makes no sense πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ.

Also the OP seems to have gone MIA.
