Problem with Air Link v81

Hi guys

since I have upgraded my Quest3 to v81 I suffer a problem with Link.

I'm not able to connect to my pc via Wifi. It doesn't recognize any PC. 

I already reboot PC and quest3, reinstalled the pc app, restore to factory the quest3, and so on...

If I use virtual desktop, I can pair quest 3 to PC via wifi. 

In the window of Link I don't have the switch to activate the wifi connection even if it is on in setings (in v79 I had a slider...). This is the screenshot on Link menù:

could you help me? 

Is it possible to downgrade to v79?

    Hi, the issue was resolved. In 20oct Quest downloaded a new version software: it is v81 as before, but I think it is a new minor version (I didn't check all the numbers.....).

    Now I have the "air link" slider, and everything works, both wireless and wired. 

    New release installed in 20 october 2025.link window with the air link slider.

    We understand you are encountering issues with Meta Quest Link after the V81 update, since this update is part of the Public Test Channel (PTC), it is still in its beta phase, so what we recommend is a Bug Report so that our engineering team can investigate this further!

      ok I can send a bug report, but in the meanwhile? Is it possible to came back to v79?

        Not sure you can do it. Here's what AI asset said. 

        Downgrading from v81 to v79 on Meta Quest is not officially supported, and there are no straightforward methods to revert to an earlier version. It's recommended to wait for any issues to be resolved in the newer version instead.  Maybe you could try a factory reset and leave the public test channel???  Though that probably won't work.
