Quest 2 cannot pair after factory reset – error 1675012

Hello,

I’m having an issue with my Meta Quest 2 after a factory reset and I’m looking for possible solutions.

Details:

  • The headset powers on normally but cannot complete pairing with the Meta Horizon mobile app.
  • The app shows the headset as already paired, even though it is not.
  • Attempting to remove other profiles shows error code 1675012.
  • I tried pairing on both an iPhone and a separate Android phone, but the problem persists.
  • Multiple factory resets, app reinstalls, and different networks did not resolve the issue.
  • Checking devices on meta.com shows no devices associated with my account.

Has anyone experienced this and found a way to resolve it? Any guidance on how to clear the pairing issue would be appreciated.
