Quest 2 controllers disconnecting every few seconds
Quest 2 controllers keep disconnecting every few seconds, making the headset unusable, and it’s clearly not an isolated issue.
Both controllers started failing at the same time, after recent UI/system changes.
I’ve already tried:
- Re-pairing controllers
- Changing batteries
- Rebooting
- Factory reset → worked for ~24 hours, then the issue came back
- Tried sideloading latest OS, but I’m already on v81

This strongly suggests a recent software update or backend push caused the issue, not hardware failure.
I contacted Meta Support, but they keep redirecting to hardware troubleshooting and don’t acknowledge that multiple users are affected.
