Quest 3.Cant connect using usb-c link

If you haven't already, first try restarting your router. Then, restart your headset and your computer. Next, try updating your Quest software and drivers, as this may resolve the issue.

To check for software updates, please do the following:

• Press   Meta button or   Oculus button on your right Touch controller to open the universal menu.
• Select the clock on the left-hand side of the universal menu to open Quick settings.
• Select   Settings in the top right.
• Select   General, then select   Software update.

- Ensure your computer operating system, your hardware drivers, and Meta Quest software are all up-to-date. 
- Restart the Meta Quest Link app.
- Disable the Public Test Channel (PTC). Being in the PTC may cause compatibility issues.
- If you are using Oculus Tray Tool or other third party software that can make modifications to graphics or settings, please uninstall for troubleshooting purposes as these programs can cause conflicts that effects performance and display.
- Please disconnect any extra devices connected to the PC leaving only the product hardware, mouse, keyboard and one primary monitor

- Try checking the settings of the Antivirus software for options to whitelist or add the Meta Quest Link app as a trusted program.
- Install the latest Meta Quest drivers.
   - Close the Meta Quest Link app.
   - Press the Windows key + R on your keyboard to open the Run command.
   - Enter C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-drivers. (File path may be different per user based on the install location)
   - Open oculus-driver.
   - Open the Meta Quest Link app and then try to connect your headset again.

I have tried it but no luck. I have reinstalled meta app and same result. Any tip?

I have already replied to a simmiliar issue so in short:
Don´t use 3.0 or higher use 2.something, it works, but has Quality problems, less Pixels and after a few Hours weird Lines, hope it works for you, good luck!

Same problem for me.

Everything was fine before the update of oculus firmware few months ago. Everything was fine BEFORE, and PCLINK doesn't work anymore AFTER the last update.

nvidia drivers, windows drivers, etc.... everything is up to date.

full installation of win10, tried also with a full installation of win11.

always the same problem = impossible to connect the headset with the cable

I've bought the oculus cable at 99€ especially (same problem).

the headset is recognized by windows, but impossible to pass the test of USB connection in oculus software.

I had the same problem before with a previous firmware update (don't remember maybe v71), then after a new update, it was ok, and now, after the last update, the PCLINK is impossible.

tried 3 different cables, including oculus one (99€, expensive for ... no result).

i don't know what to do.  I need cable connection PCLINK for my game (simulator).

Virtual Desktop works fine, but quality is not the same.

Airlink works also, but quality is not the same compared to PCLINK.

In fact, everything works except the PCLINK, and I want to play with the PCLINK.

- Launch the Meta Quest Link app / DONE

- Install the latest Meta Quest drivers / DONE
- Open oculus-driver / DONE
 - Open the Meta Quest Link app and then try to connect your headset again / DONE

No change, still problem with PCLINK

No solution for me at the moment.

I think it is complicated to communicate with assistant.

I have to send a file, but the button "attachment" doesn't work. Even a basic action like this is not simple.

And i Received a mail this morning telling me if i dont reply in the 5 coming days, my ticket will be closed.

It looks like my headset is not connected to a USB 3. 

My motherboard MSI B760 tomahawk has many USB3 connectors, and i have also an extra card with USB3 (asmedia) especially for connecting my headset. I tried all my USB connectors, but nothing. The headset is recognized by windows, but not by oculus.

Everything works well in wireless (virtual desktop, Air link) but I want wired connection for more stability and graphics quality.

It worked perfectly during several months before the last oculus update. So i don't understand why it doesn't work anymore. My hardware configuration is still the same.

Communication via Oculus Messenger is not convenient at all.
