Same problem for me.
Everything was fine before the update of oculus firmware few months ago. Everything was fine BEFORE, and PCLINK doesn't work anymore AFTER the last update.
nvidia drivers, windows drivers, etc.... everything is up to date.
full installation of win10, tried also with a full installation of win11.

always the same problem = impossible to connect the headset with the cable
I've bought the oculus cable at 99€ especially (same problem).
the headset is recognized by windows, but impossible to pass the test of USB connection in oculus software.
That is exactly my situation. Given that I can still connect using my previous laptop, maybe some oculus firmware update doesn't work correctly in specific computers (specific CPU or specific mother board or specific CPU...)
