I'm starting to think that it might be something to do with the USB Type-C connector in my PC, and everyone else's, maybe. I have two Type C's, one that's made for 20gbps, and the other one is not stated(Motherboard is MAG-Z790-TOMAHAWK-WIFI). The 20gbps slot is for the Quest 3, and the other one is to charge my Xbox Elite 2 controller. Anyway, I'm wondering if the power consumption for both of them is too much to power both?. Since I removed the charger cable from my elite to a USB port on my plug tower, Link has been working flawlessly. This could be a coincidence, and before that, I had reset the Quest to factory settings and performed a repair on the Link desktop app before coming here for answers and hadn't checked if what I did fixed anything, but something I did must have?
I noticed something wasn't right when I started getting the headset charging slowly every time I connected the headset to the link cable, and with the cable attached to the headset and PC, the headset went flat whilst playing Elite Dangerous, and this has never happened before.
This could all be a long shot, but it gives others with the same problem something to try. I doubt my PC is suffering from Power issues, since I have a 1000W PSU, but who knows.
I will keep checking and see if anything changes in the next week. My only problem now is whether the cable is charging my headset while playing like it did before?
