Quest 3 has no audio when connected to PC

I recently get the Quest 3, and for some reason I can't get the audio to come through my headset when it is connected to my PC using a link cable or AirLink. It shows as a device in the sounds settin...

    Got my fix. Update the headset by cable.
    Resetting it would prob work too, something within the update messed something up.

I had the same problem today when I updated meta software. In the end, after many tries... I restarted my PC and audio came back.

    No goddamn clue, but yeah, 100% Meta's issue right now.
    Even controller tracking is out of whack for me.
    Mic is always stuck at half, audio is at zero. I’ve reset, restarted, updated, tried everything here and on other posts like this one.
    And I hate this... I just got my paycheck and wanted to play some goddamn games, but nothing’s working.
    Looks like the support person gave up on even checking this post.
