Quest 3 repeatedly trying to connect via link cable (repeats chime noise)

I have seen a few posts on this on the internet but my quest 3 just keeps chiming and trying to connect constantly when I plug the link cable in. Is there a fix yet? I use my quest 3 for sim racing o...

Been having this problem since last update aswell, what works for me is restarting pc and then connecting cable to my q3 before logging in, then make sure when it’s chiming to press on the usb connection to allow file sharing, it should be right above the middle panel on the q3
