Quest 3s cable link no hands tracking support

I can't use hands tracking when I use steamVR while use USB connecting quest 3s to pc, but everything work fine when I use steamlink from Quest 3s by wifi (I have to use usb cable due my weak wi-fi signal)

Is it normal that we can't use hands tracking when we connection to pc by usb? If no please tell me how to fix it.

    itsaraofgod  the majority of PCVR titles do not work with hand tracking either wired or wireless Half-life Alyx is one of the exceptions.

      Thank you so much for reply! the problem is when I play vrchat with wifi(steamlink from Quest 3s>steamvr>vrchat) I can use my hands tracking, but when I use usb cable(meta link>rift>steamvr>vrchat) it doesn't have hands tracking anymore. I'm not sure if it's normal or not

        I thought there would be an update by now that it would work with link cable. Sadly the answer is still no. I have heard about the beta on steam. I didn't look into it tho. You can look up the steam beta and see if you can get into that program to be a beta tester if they still have any openings that is. Another way and i am not sure how it works. I think he was just using his quest 3 no pc, but he was using his smart phone to get full body tracking.

        You could also ask around on vr chat. Someone may have a device that can allow it or just using a vr headset that already has it out of the box that isnt a quest. Im not 100% sure whats out there and im still learning on and off with vr.

      I still have the same issue with Link and usb cable and not only that, once I open Link or any Steam game the entire system fuc$$$$ and no handtracking unless I turn off/on the device.
