Quest 3S keeps disconnecting and reconnecting over and over to pc link. (Multiple times in a second)

Up until about a week or so ago my quest 3s connected perfectly fine to my pc. No issues. I had a 3rd party link cable that charged and linked simultaneously. But about a week ago the cable just refused to connect and would keep connecting and then disconnecting immediately. At first I thought it was the cable had gone bad, but I bought a new one and had the same issues. So far I have uninstalled the meta app from the pc, updated my drivers, factory reset the headset itself, I made sure both the app and headset were updated to the newest versions, and so far nothing has worked. The weird thing is my previous link cable doesn't have this issue, and it is 3rd party as well. The only difference is that it doesn't charge simultaneously.

  • I have the same problem by two months I can’t turn on my PCVR Link to play my simulator. If this continues a little longer I will just sell all my meta gadgets

      Hello there!

       

      We came across your post and would like to help you with establishing your PCVR Link connectivity.

       

      If you are losing connection at random intervals this can be an indication that your cable came loose during general use of your headset, so we would ask you to please check that the USB ports connected to your headset and PC are secure, as well as using another USB ports if possible.

      Could you also please check that your link cable does not have any hardware damage as this can also cause connectivity issues.

       

      Should your USB ports be secure and your Link cable not show any hardware damage, we would ask you to try using Airlink, so we can make sure this issue is not a link cable issue, and can provide you with further steps to help you get back into the Metaverse as soon as possible.
