Thanks for reaching out about your connection issue with the Rift S.
We at Meta Store Support would like to offer a few suggestions to try, in an attempt to resolve the problem.
1, Manually update the firmware for the PC ports. Microsoft Update Drivers
2, Reseat the cables on both the headset side and your GPU- when plugging back in use the USB 3.0 first, followed by the display port cable.
3, Check that the Selective Suspend Setting hasn't been enable after the update for all ports.
- Start menu > Power Options > Additional Power Settings > Change plan settings >Change Advanced Power Settings
- Make sure that Selective Suspend Setting is set to Disabled
