Rift S constantly becoming unrecognised

This is happening after 10-15 mins of use.  I'll get a screen black-out and error messages that the headset is no longer tracking.  However, the headset is still tracking as seen on the desktop display, just with no visuals on the headset.

Sound and controllers are also glitchy and intermittent.

Once everything collapses, a full computer restart usually brings everything back for 10-15 mins.  

This all strarted on about 20 Jan when the Meta Link got goosed.  I have reinetalled software, checked cables and all the other tip.  No other changes have been made and everything is capable of working, it just stops doing so after a while.

    This is a common Rift S issue and usually points to USB bandwidth/power instability, not the headset itself. Make sure you are using a good cable and a good port on your pc!

      I'm using the same cable and USB sockets as I have been for 3 years. 

      I've been having another go, tonight.  Restarting the Meta Link software while making no other chages keeps giving different errors.

      I've had "no audio" while hearing the audio, no USB, then no Displayport, but I could see the three dots just by restarting the Link or the whole computer, with no pattern.  

      Although tonight, I'm not even getting the 10-15 minutes of use that I've been getting for the last few weeks.  Either it's three dots or blackness.
